Video: Meet Some Helpful New Robots

While many people think of robots as primarily terminators and predator drones, there's a new generation of social robots, designed to be people friendly. 

A 2-foot tall humanoid robot, Milo is designed to teach social skills to children with autism. According to research, children on the autism spectrum engaged with human therapists about 3 percent of the time. With Milo, that number jumps up to 87 percent.

Elsewhere in the robotics world, strictly utilitarian robots like those in automotive factories are getting upgrades to be friendlier to their human colleagues.
