Keep Hackers Out of Your Netflix and Hulu Accounts

Only you can binge watch on your account.
Have you ever browsed Netflix and noticed a strange film you'd never watch pop up in your suggestions? Or maybe a strange extra profile has appeared? You could be playing host to a streaming service freeloader. To take back your account, there are a few things you can do.
Start by eliminating the suspects. Talk to your family and friends to make sure they aren't behind the suspicious behavior. If it's not anyone you know, then it's time to kick them out.
For Hulu, go to Account and then Manage Devices to see who is accessing your account, and then remove them. Do the same thing on Netflix by heading to Account and then Manage Download Devices and deleting anything that shouldn't be there. To be extra safe, sign your account out of all devices, which you can do on both Netflix and Hulu.
The next time you log in, make sure to change your password and make it strong (for example, don't use "password" as a password!) You might also want to change the email address you use to log in to the site.
And remember, it's probably not a good idea to hand out your password. Let your friends get their own Netflix account.
