How the tech company is improving upon GPS for its users.

Despite some directional mishaps a few years ago, Apple is once again trying to improve its mapping programs.

The tech giant recently purchased company Coherent Navigation, which has created a more precise version of GPS, allowing low-orbit communication satellites to tell where a user is located within a matter of inches, rather than a matter of feet. 

However, there are concerns this technology could be used for more nefarious purposes other than to help people get to where they need to go.
